The Journey Within Practice - Rising in Alignment
I Grew Up in the Magic of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn
Rooted in loyalty, grit, and a deep sense of family, my Italian upbringing shaped me into the person I am today. From a young age, people often told me I brought light and joy into their lives. Known as the “peacekeeper,” I wasn’t just a listener—I felt what others carried. My heightened empathy allowed me to sense the energy of every room, though as a child, that sensitivity often felt overwhelming.
Early Life: Responsibility, Resilience, and Compassion
Life taught me responsibility early. My mother’s severe rheumatoid arthritis made me her hands, her support, and her steady ground. Those years instilled in me profound compassion and a deep sense of service. While I learned to prioritize others, I also unknowingly set aside my own needs—a pattern I carried into adulthood until self-awareness illuminated a path to healing.
Finding Strength Through Adversity
Childhood wasn’t always nurturing. Words from my sister left deep scars, shaping a narrative of self-doubt that I carried for years. Being called “stupid” or “unwanted” left me questioning my worth. Speaking up felt terrifying, and I often silenced my voice. Yet through time, healing, and grace, I rewrote that story. Today, I stand with confidence, knowing those words no longer define me—they only shaped my strength.
The Power of Love and Loss
At 15, Ray entered my life, bringing steadiness and unconditional love. He became a reflection of the softness I had hidden beneath layers of armor. His presence grounded me in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time. When Ray tragically took his own life at 22, my grief was immense, and for years, I wrestled with the loss. Yet, through this pain, I found purpose, learning to turn darkness into light—a transformation I now guide others through.
Rediscovering My Light Through Coaching
Marriage came at 27, and while it lasted a decade, I knew early on it wasn’t the right fit. Grief from my past and a growing sense of misalignment fueled my desire to heal. During this time, I discovered coaching, and it ignited a fire within me. In 2008, I began guiding others to navigate their lives with clarity, intention, and emotional intelligence, breaking through outdated patterns to unlock their fullest potential.
By 2016, I became a single mom to two daughters, fulfilling a promise I made to them: “Mommy’s got you.” That commitment anchored me as I stepped into a life of authenticity and became a living example for my girls of resilience and self-worth.
Breaking Open to Rise Again
Life didn’t stop testing me. When my oldest daughter faced her darkest days, I chose faith over fear and hope over despair. Together, we navigated the storm and emerged stronger. Later, a career and personal relationship pushed me to the brink, nearly causing me to lose sight of myself. Yet, instead of breaking, I allowed that experience to crack me open. It redefined my practice and deepened my connection to my purpose.
I let go of the fixer in me—the woman who once thought she needed to save everyone. I realized my true role was to guide others back to their power. This shift transformed the way I coach, lead, and love.
Today: Leading with Brilliance and Alignment
I stand here, not as someone with all the answers, but as someone who has walked through the fire and found peace on the other side. I’ve embraced my brilliance through surrender, allowing life to align with my values and purpose.
Now, I work with women who feel stuck, women ready to stop dimming their light and create a life that feels as good as it looks. I guide men to connect with their personal desires, blending vulnerability with leadership to harmonize their personal and professional lives.
My journey is ongoing. Growth never stops, and I am here, walking beside those ready to choose themselves. Because when you choose yourself, everything changes.
Welcome to the work—I can’t wait to guide you toward the peace and freedom I now hold.
My journey isn’t over. I’m still evolving, still expanding. But if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this when you choose yourself, everything changes.
Refers to a holistic approach to balancing and blending all aspects of life personal, professional, social, and emotional, so they coexist harmoniously, rather than existing in competition.
Unlike “work-life balance,” which often implies separating work from personal life, life integration emphasizes creating synergy between various areas to live a fulfilling and aligned life.
What It Means in Practice:
1. Blending Work and Life: Embracing the overlap between work and personal life (e.g., working remotely while spending time with family).
2. Aligning Values: Ensuring that all aspects of life reflect personal values and priorities.
3. Flexible Boundaries: Adapting to life’s demands in a way that reduces stress and increases flow (e.g., taking time during the day for personal well-being or family, then working in the evening).
4. Intentional Living: Designing life around purpose and fulfillment, rather than reacting to external pressures.
